Tido Schmidt (Cyclone)
comes from Germany. At the age of 12 he started playing guitar. Later, at 15 he played solo-guitar in a rock band. He wrote his first songs and recorded them in his own little studio. At the turn of the new millenium he heard Drum and Bass for the first time and just decided to start producing it on his own.
In the beginning he used several programs like Magix Music Maker, Fruity Loops and Reason. Later then he switched to Cubase. He got two turntables and a mixer from a friend and started mixing too. In 2002 he had his first booking on an event and many followed. He also has his weekly radio show on http://www.dnbradio.com where he plays every Monday from 10 pm to 12 am gmt+1.
With an EP which is released on T-Free (http://tilt-recordings.com/t-free/mp3eps.htm) and also with two releases on Anxiety Disorder called "Constant" and "Fuck the world" he takes place in the Drum and Bass scene.
